LA CANCION:
"Gracias Por La Música" es el quintuagésimo y definitivo último sencillo de ABBA que coincide con la última aparición del cuarteto como el grupo más famoso de la historia. Fue acoplado con el tema de estilo Festival "Cómo Lo Hacen Los Viejos Amigos" como su lado B.
El tema fue escrito por Benny y Björn y la voz principal fue encarnada por Agnetha acompañada por Frida en los coros. "Gracias Por La Música" fue su golpe veinticinco y final en todo el mundo, liberado en noviembre de 1983. La pista del álbum Super Trouper "Cómo Lo Hacen Los Viejos Amigos" coincide con la única canción de ABBA cantada en vivo acoplada en un álbum de estudio.
"Gracias Por La Música" en realidad había sido registrada seis años antes, en 1977. El tema también fue incluido en su quinto album de estudio- "The Album", y también formó parte de su pelicula- "ABBA-The Movie".
El sencillo fue liberado en el Reino Unido, alcanzando su punto máximo en el Numero 3. También logró coronarse como la gran vencedora de ese año golpeando los Top Ten en 10 países y se transformó en una de las replicas más famosas y conocidas del mundo.
La última aparición de ABBA como grupo, fue el 12 de Diciembre de 1982, en el programa de The Late Late Breakfast Show, en el cual cantaron por última vez, su epitafio que los haría perdurar por siempre en la historia, "Gracias Por La Música, el programa marcó el punto de sintonía más alto en la historia de la música europea, culminando así una carrera de diez años de exitos, llenos de alegrias, penas, tristezas y triunfos, pero que transformarían a ABBA en el grupo más famoso de todos los tiempos.
