LA CANCION:
"Cuando Bese Al Maestro" es el decimonoveno sencillo de ABBA y fue uno de los temas más apreciados y agraciados, y además de ser el tema de apertura de su cuarto disco de estudio "Arrival", además de ser uno de los temas favoritos de sus gestores, Benny y Björn. El sencillo fue liberado en septiembre del 76 en formato EP. El plomo vocal fue encarnado por la voz excepcional de Agnetha. Fue acoplado con el tema de estilo Jazz Rock "Porque Tuve Que Ser Yo" como su lado B, que también aparece en el mismo album.
El tema, con una introducción de estilo Old School, tiene una mezcla entre felicidad e inocencia, evoca una frescura en el tono de voz dulce de Agnetha, para contar la historia, ambientada en un salón de clases, de una muchacha enamorada de su profesor, que a pesar de lo que esto implica y de las miradas atónitas de sus compañeros, se arriesga y le da un beso, creando una especie de catarsis en la cual parece que la muchacha es una profesora decidida y segura y el profesor un timido y reservado alumno que desea comprender las leyes del amor, más allá de las leyes de la geometría.
La segunda plaza, "Porque Tuve Que Ser Yo" nos ofrece una canción más rápida, alegre, que nos invita a disfrutar, encarnada por las voces de Björn y Frida, a través de una mezcla entre lo sombrio del Jazz y lo colorido del Rock, nos cuenta la historia de un hombre solitario, triste y normal que ha caido en las garras de un amor peligroso, una mujer que lo único que le importa es jugar con los sentimientos de sus amantes y satisfacer sus deseos.
"Cuando Bese Al Maestro" a pesar de su liberación limitada, es uno de los temas más favoritos de la plataforma ABBAmaniática, obtuvo algunos golpes en los Charts en países como Australia, Austria, Alemania, Francia, Noruega, Paises Bajos, Polonia, Suecia, Suiza y Sudafrica
