LA CANCION:
"Golpe-De-Boomerang" es el decimoquinto sencillo de ABBA y el cuarto de su álbum de 1975, autotitulado ABBA. Fue liberado con el tema de estilo Ballad "Voy A Cantarte Mi Canción De Amor", tema que aparece en su segundo album en 1974, "Waterloo" como su Lado B.
El "Golpe-De-Boomerang" fue una canción escrita en su primera version con la lírica en sueco escrita por Benny, Björn y Stig Anderson. La canción comparte las excelente voces de Agnetha & Frida. El texto de la canción compara "El mensaje del amor" que siempre vuelve, con los bumeranes, armas de caza que los aborígenes de los pueblos australianos desarrollaron.
El grupo de cada vez mayor explosión lo liberó como un sencillo en Francia en 1975 y reapareció en varios países europeos. La lírica en inglés fue escrita por Benny y Stig Andersson, y ABBA registró la canción durante su disco homonimo de 1975, ABBA.
El dúo sueco de pequeña explosión "Svenne y Lotta" realizó la canción cuando ellos terminaron en tercer lugar en el Melodifestivalen, un festival sueco pre-eurovisivo. La canción estuvo en los Svensktoppen durante 7 semanas, entre el periodo desde el 9 de marzo y el 11 de mayo de 1975, consiguiendo un segundo lugar, cómo su mejor resultado.
La banda sueca "Noice" registró un cover de está canción en su álbum de 1981 "Det Ljuva Livet". En 1998 el grupo sueco de heavy metal "Ingvars Black" cubrió la canción, en una versión de metal pesado. En el año 2000, la cantante sueca Lotta Engbergs, registró una versión de la versión natal, en su álbum "Vilken Härlig Dag".
En 2007 el productor Leonardo T. liberó una canción llamada "Van" (destacando la voz principal de Maia Lee), la canción usó la misma melodía que "Golpe-De-Boomerang", pero con la lírica diferente.
