LA CANCION:
"Bajo Ataque" es el cuatrigesimo noveno y último sencillo de ABBA y fue el segundo sencillo promocional de su primer doble compilación de los diez años de historia de ABBA. Fue acoplado con el tema de estilo Electronic Pop, "Me Debes Una" como su lado B.
El tema fue escrito por Benny y Björn y la voz principal fue encarnada por Agnetha. "Bajo Ataque" fue una de las últimas canciones de ABBA registrada en agosto de 1982. El grupo al principio había tenido la intención de liberar un nuevo álbum de estudio, pero la tensión del ambiente los condujo indefinidamente a aplazar el proyecto y en cambio liberaría un álbum compilatorio doble de sus éxitos más famosos. Y fue decidido que habría dos nuevas pistas dentro de la compilación, "El Día Antes De Tu Llegada" y "Bajo Ataque".
El sencillo fue liberado en octubre de 1982. En el Reino Unido, sin embargo, fue liberado el 3 de diciembre de 1982. "Bajo Ataque" fue el vigesimo octavo y último sencillo de ABBA para Polar Music. Siendo así que ellos no registrarían más como el grupo más famoso de todos los tiempos.
Melodiosamente. ésta es una canción con valores de producción fuertes y profesionales, con una armonía apretada - tiene un sonido estéreo que fue muy popular en esos días, cuando la música electrónica recien emergía, sentando la bases de la música moderna, para terminar la canción con una "suave decoloración" que estremece a quien la oye.
"Bajo Ataque " si bien, no fue muy popular en su liberación, fue una de las mejores canciones de ABBA. Algunos admiradores dicen que estaba adelantada a su tiempo, los otros la critican como una de las canciones más completas y trabajadas del grupo. Aunque un Top Five golpeó en algunos países europeos, y otros golpes menores entre los Top Ten y Top Twenty en otros territorios. En Australia, donde la popularidad del grupo rebasaba a la de los Beatles, gano por segunda vez consecutiva el Cisne De Oro a la mejor canción del año. Después de la liberación del sencillo, fue decidido que ABBA tomaría un "descanso" que ha durado 25 años y aún así no se ha detenido, pasando de generación en generación, de emoción a emoción, de tono a tono y que ha conquistado el universo musical siendo el acto más importante del último siglo y que se resume en cuatro simples letras ABBA.
